Where we'll share stories and learn about the people and the lives
affected by the militarization of the U.S./Mexico Border

(I will share photos and stories about my work with a humanitarian aid
organization on the border and undocumented friends in the Watsonville
community will share their experiences of crossing the border and of
living the life of an "illegal" in the United States)

WHEN: SUNDAY, November 16, 2008

TIME: 4:30pm.-8pm.

WHERE: Lutheran Community Church/ 95 Alta Vista Ave., Watsonville (From
South or North take the Airport Blvd. exit off of Highway 1. Follow
Airport towards Freedom Blvd (about 1 mile). Make a right on Freedom and
pass about three stoplights until you hit Alta Vista Ave. (you will see a
Well's Fargo Bank on your right). Turn right on Alta Vista and you will
see the church on your left. It is Across from the DMV)

BRING: Please bring a photo or memento honoring someone you care about
who has been separated from you by any type of border (National Border,
Geography, Misunderstanding, Death or in any other way)

DONATION: $5-$25 sliding scale donation to pay the cooks and as seed money
to support migrants who would like to start a sustainable business in
their home communities

*A lovingly Prepared Mexican Dinner will be provided (for veggie and meat
eaters)
